GPS Receiver Initialization Diagram

This figure shows how receiver initialization may be used to correct for some of the biases and errors in the GPS system. This diagram shows that a GPS receiver is initialized at a known location. The received GPS correction values can be updated and stored using the known location information. When the GPS receiver is then moved to a nearby position, the updated correction parameters can be used to improve the accuracy of the measurements.
